Da Wechselkr\u00f6ten gerne schwach bewachsene Kleingew\u00e4sser in pannonischen gut strukturierten Agrarlandschaften besiedeln, ist der Standort im Lobauvorland ideal. Auch den im Garten der Bioforschung gesichteten Amphibienarten Teichmolch und Knoblauchkr\u00f6te soll der neue Teich ein willkommener Laichplatz sein.
